NW weather report:

7:06 Temp 15 degrees F, very Cloudy, wind calm: Predicted Rain mixed
with Snow

The weatherman has been right on but the "Omega Blocking Low" is
starting to break up. Looks like another 5 day of cold weather but it is
getting to be a "crap shoot" right now.

Could be sailing by next week but is iffy.

That's a good place for you Ole boy! You're a fair weather
sailor at best and your boat can't handle anything much more
than fair weather breezes and your navigation skills
can't cope with anything but dock-in-sight to dock-in-sight
(aka Bobsprit style) navigation and your loose-footed mainsail
can't handle any real blow until the clew rips out of it, and
your pilot house can't handle a large wave broaching it and
your diesel motor can't push your extreme drag configuration
hull and keel to anything near hull speed and your liquor cabinet
can't sustain you for more than a few hours . . .
