Wrong on all counts, as usual, wimpy! Those weak mosquitoes must have
really
worked you over.

NOT... I got you pegged!!! Day sailing wiener!
No mosquito bites me and flys away sober.... and the offspring are all
rendered useless due to F.A.S.

Get about 8 to 10 hours running time on the Genny. I let it cool well
before re-filling it and start it again with all the load removed, It
beats the hell out of Fireplace and oil lamps but that is my opinion.

Sounds like you got a handle on it Thom.... I'm one that loves the ambiance
of Oil Lamps.... not to mention they last for weeks. When we had the
hurricane Juan last year... no power for 13 days... we had no problems at
all. Can't say the same for a lot of my neighbours. We brought a few of my
Mom & Dad's elderly friends over to the house. They stayed here until their
power was restored. One of them brought one of those old crank music
boxes... you set the drum in and crank the handle... it's like a metal drum
with tabs on it. Really neat ... this lady had about ten different drums.
Mr. Zinc brought his fiddle and Mrs. Dow played the spoons. We listened to
some old fashioned reels and jigs. Lots of old stories told while seated in
comfy chairs, cuddled up under blankets, next to the fireplace. Everyone had
a good time.

I'm so jealous...... can you send some of that snow over here???
I'm getting the feeling you guys are hogging all my winter snow time!
I've even phoned the Canadian Meteorological Bureau and registered a
formal complaint about the USA stealing our snow!!!

Mooron,

That's enough!! Take your Canadian NE Wind out of the Fraser Valley and
stop with the Cold Air over our mild, damp air from the Pacific.

I won't go sailing.

That's a picture of my Dog's run taken at Dawn, this morning She's
****ed off about this snow and its MY FAULT

Note the arrows missing from the photo. The number is in the right hand
corner because I'm capturing the picture from the camera's "Slide Show"
That's the # in memory and I don't mind it

Thought I show you. Now I'll try to stop being a pest with my new toy
AND:"I'LL DRINK TO THAT"

You know Thom... I can find any flashlight in the house in total darkness by
memory. I know how many steps to take and when to turn and how many stairs
there are. Same as my boat. I can make it from my basement bedroom or den to
the main floor entrance in 11 seconds in total darkness. Same goes for my
weapons and gear.

I'll bet you know exactly how to get to the rum locker in total
darkness.

Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now!

Good Morning to All !

6:42AM West Coast Time. Snowing for the last hour. Dog' been out, had
breakfast and back to bed. Weather people have been right on the ball,
two days out of two.

The Pacific Lows coming in are sucking that Cold Canadian air right down
on us.

Looks like another Slipper and sweat suit day for Ole Thom. WTH, its
that season BUT I'd still be happier with the snow staying up in Canada.

Power holding steady.

'Mornin' Thom.... snowed a bit here but not enough to make me happy.
It's -5c here, I let the girls out of the coop and got the morning paper at
0700hrs. Made coffee, tea and breakfast, cleaned up a bit and now I'm
kickin' back.

it's 79 outside right now, had to turn on the airconditioning. Got down
to 68 last night and I woke up once and considered turning on the heat.
