This was before Isabel. Actually the Chesapeake was a bit better the
other areas, though we did get the "out of order" routine in Baltimore. - The marina even had a "free pumpout with fuel fill" sign! South Carolina and Georgia were the worst. When every pumpout in a town is "out of order" or "the person who runs it isn't in today" you get the feeling the locals don't care if they live in a sewer. |
