OK, it comes as a set with a little plastic Santa holding an old-timey
ships wheel, with a light bulb in it.

Still want it? ;)

That's a great gift for an old man.

I got yer "old man"!!

... Too bad Santa didn't install it
right away. It's only one speed, right? Manual capability?

No, yes, and yes.

I had to do some drilling & cutting on the bowsprit to get it mounted,
then re-varnish. Next is to work out the switch installation and do the
wiring.

I did some snooping around friends boats this fall, looking at windlass
installations.

I got a brass bell, the small one (4''?) that's for decorative

I got a J-150 with all new sails.

You need somebody to show you how to sail it?

Scotty

Not until I get the projection TV hooked up in the main saloon (fully
stocked bar, ya know) and figure out how to secure the boat to the dock
with shackles. Can't let it be too easy to leave the dock now can we?
I'll let you know, but it's down at the Cape Marina in Port Canaveral,
Florida.

Do you know somebody? You wouldn't know how to put on the sails.

and the other?

A grog mug. My brother spent hours looking for the right one on the
internet. He ordered one for everyone on the crew, then after he got
them, he had them specially engraved with the boat name and our name.
Mine is sitting in the fridge right now. I drank a beer out of it
this morning.
