Oz1...of the 3 twins.

I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you.

I suggest you look at the 5 day forecast for the lows....I realize that this
is far north of you, but it is in FL...and the orange growers were all
bemoaning crop freeze on the news today... but then, you're only in touch
with a very minute portion of the
world...http://www.wunderground.com/US/FL/Pensacola.html

Katy is slightly misinformed.

The wind has come around from the East and warm ocean breezes
have warmed up the peninsula. It's in the fifties even north of
here. Here in the Keys it's in the low seventies/high sixties as
I write this.

I hope it doesn't ruin my grapefruit crop. They should be ripe soon.

Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now!

Bell December 22nd 04 04:57 AM

Only got down to 38 here but it was up to 68
Just north it did freeze but the high was in the lower 60s

Blew like stink all night.
Supposed to get up to 21° today.
Maybe it will be warmer in upstate NY?

At midnight the temp got down to a chilling 50 deg. Farenheit. But
it's supposed to turn cold tomorrow with the highs in the 50's.

On Wednesday morning we are supposed to get snow in most of the
state. My boys are ecstatic, but I'm thinking about Florida. :-)

They don't grow citrus in Pensacola. Actually very little citrus is grown
north of Ocala or Gainsville

I was speaking of FL citrus growers in general....ATT had a news blurb about
damage to vegetation and orange groves if the freezing temps remained longer
than 4 hrs.

What about 'Bloody Point'? Cape Fear?

Others?

OK, if it makes you feel better, I envy you.

This is one of the few times I will say it is DEFINITELY too cold

around
here to sailing.

BTW do you feel safe sailing around a place called "Port Hacking"??

I've never sailed around Cape Fear. Raced near it several times. But
it's one of those "soft capes" with no scary rocks... it does have
currents that drag you up onto it.

Bloody Pt is no big deal AFAIK. How about Sharkfin? Wolf Trap?

My personal favorite is Cape Lookout... aptly named!

Katy's being disingenuous, Oz. It was colder than the Yukon in January this
June in Michigan.

Yeah, and it was a damn shame we didn't see much of that this past June, eh?
