Remember that discussion of sawing a boat in half and lengthening it?

I think it would be a nice Christmas gift to Scotty to turn his S30 into
a 35 or 36. I've got some spare fiberglass in the garage...

funny you mention that, Today I saw a small 13 foot sailboat that had 4
foot cut off the stern, bullwarks put in... and the boat latched back
together. The guy said he did it because it was to long to hang on the
davits of his Choy Lee. Pretty good ideal.

I'm gonna need a lot of nails, 2x4's, elmer's glue, caulking, and coffee.

2x4s are expensive. How about lumber from scavenged shipping pallets?

Coffee, check. We get it in those 10# Navy cannisters.
