Interesting and amusing. The "replacement cost" for a new version of
our 1995 MasterCraft skiboat, for which we paid $24K new, is over $50K;
but I'll bet I'm just about the leftmost person who posts here (even if
it is only occasionally).

$24K is just about what I paid for a Mastercraft Prostar back in '92. About
a week ago I went into the dealership just for a peek at the newer boats and
just shook my head when I saw the price tags. Not sure where the author of
the article got her info.
