wrote in message A free copy of photoshop? I SERIOUSLY doubt it's the full version. Meanwhile, automated redeye repair does not do a very good job except for "snapshot" quality. In a closeup portrait, it would be VERY noticable. Figures that Moron would think that Photoshop's redeye presets would do more than a very crude job. Presets... Bwahahahahahahahaaaaa.... what kind of an IDIOT are you Bill-Bob? CM |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... it would be VERY noticable. Figures that Moron would think that Photoshop's redeye presets would do more than a very crude job. 100% correct. For close up work you have to retouch manually. I also have Paintshop for that stuff, which I prefer for some pics. Red-eye fix is fine for 4X6 though. Paintshop.... Bwahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!! Idiot! CM |
"John Cairns" wrote in message I have several copies of PhotoShop, including a full version, along with Corel PhotoPaint, full version, couldn't tell you if any of the bundled versions are complete as I rarely use them, I take perfect pics right out of the box :) As do most people with a clue...... which Bob obviously does not have. CM |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message I don't see any cameras that come with full photoshop. Maybe one does, but certainly nothing I've seen. Elements is a popular free-bee with cameras and even higher end photoprinters. My D70 came with neither. Stop it already Bob... you are sounding more ridiculous with every post! CM |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message Not full photoshop. Usually just Elements, which is now up to 3.0. Good program that's fine for most folks. Like how would you know?? You don't have a clue about graphics programs! Wanna butt heads about it Bob? This should be a lot of fun..... CM |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Photoshop.... Bob..... don't be silly... he couldn't figure out a palette let alone pixel edit and masks. I use Photoshop CS (full version) of course along with Nikon-View to decode raw images. Neat Image is used to correct higher ISOs. Mooron blows it again! Bwahhahahahahahahaaaa.... what a dolt! Photoshop ...full version... Bwahahahahahahahahahaaaa You really don't have a clue do you Bob!?? Here's a hint... if you had the full version... why would yu use Nikon-View??? Because your an IDIOT! .... and you don't have the full version... you couldn't work the full version... you wouldn't understand the full version.... CM |

I have never said a negative word about your child. He is an innocent and you have a great gift in your son. Raise him well... but buddy... that ain't gonna have any impact on my taking your sorry ass to task at every opportunity.... and that's just because you earned the right! Just remember... I'm only pickin' on Ya ... cause I like Ya! Relax and remember you have much more important things to attend to than this media of high pressure steam offlet. I'm havin' fun... hope you are as well.... CM |

It's wireless and out of his eyeline. 2) The room is bright (200 watts overhead), but he just had his eyes closed. The D70 is so damn fast, I got him just as he spotted the lens of the camera. Seriously Bob... how do you find that Nikon? I'm looking at buying a new camera. CM |

Seriously Bob... how do you find that Nikon? I'm looking at buying a new
camera. Actually, it's quite nice. It's rather large. I find the auto focus system amazing and manual is also there. Pics are quite sharp with the 18-70 kit lens and sharper still with primes. I think a lot of people could be very happy with the kit lens alone. D70 works best out of the auto modes. Viewfinder is not the brightest, but just fine. There is no vertical grip available. Your old Nikon lenses will work, but may be manual only...no big deal. ISO performance is very good...this was taken at ISO 500. http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/water444.jpg I really can't say enough good things about the D70. Even the metering is well done. No shutter lag. Great raw mode and so on. Quite a deal. There is also the more expensive Canon 20D, with 8mp, but I prefer the D70. The Canon's Cmos sensor is probably superior when used correctly, but the Canon's kit lens isn't great. Feel free to ask more questions....oh, the D70's inherent FL mag is 1.5, so a 50mm lens becomes a 75mm. RB |
I'm havin' fun... hope you are as well....
Easy there, ole buddy. You know I'm having fun. BTW, I don't know if a D70 is a great camera for use aboard. I'd go with a good small P&S, like my little Pentax Optio. Dispite it's small size, it took this pic (5MP)...... http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/sendbaby2.jpg Again, the Optio is smaller than a credit card. Sells here for 315.00 and there's even an underwater housing available for it! RB |
My D70 came with neither.

Paintshop for that stuff, which I prefer for some pics. Red-eye fix is

Here's a hint... if you had the full version... why would yu use
Nikon-View??? Mooron, I feel bad for you. At each turn you get exposed. Here's a newsflash. Photoshop CS, PSLE and Elements 3.0 CAN'T READ the NIKON NEF RAW files without the plugin that downloads with NIKON VIEW. Period. SLABAMMMMMMM!!! BWAHAHAHAHA! CRUNCH!!!!! OH, THE HUMANITY!!!! RB |

Not much into the smaller digitals.... what I'm waiting for is Nikon to get off their friggin' arses and get back to making topline cameras again. They had a great one years ago... can't recall the name... the price tag was $10K.... I think they are coming out with a new one in week or so as well.... but again the stupid proprietary format crap I think.... I've got like over a dozen Nikon Lenses and Flash equipment.... I use it as a hobby but have been hired on many occasions. My brother's graphic firm uses my equipment for their professional photo shoots..... seems the pros like the F4 much better than the F5... I do not know why. I do have a data back that allows a wide variety of functions... like printing the shot info between the shots on the negative. Auto tracking and focus triggered shot abilities.... I can set it up over a gopher hole and when the gopher pops his head out into the focus range preset... it will snap a photo automatically... or 6 of them at different exposures. It's a really neat system. CM |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message Feel free to ask more questions....oh, the D70's inherent FL mag is 1.5, so a 50mm lens becomes a 75mm. Damned.... that'll screw up my 17mm Fisheye... but would be a boost to my 500mm Cat. I'm waiting to see the reviews on the Nikon D2X.... CM |

"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... that's fine for most folks. Like how would you know?? How would I know? Do you know the diff between a comercial/pro grade editing tool and consumer grade? I guess not. Please explain to us all why Elements 3.0 ISN'T fine for most people!!!! We're waiting! I've never used Elements 3.0.... there are a plethora of graphics programs... some with proprietary formats... some that do a tenth the stuff that Photoshop can do at 1/3 the price. Photoshop as with all graphics apps is entirely based on your familiarity and expertise with the program. Many people can do basic stuff with AutoCAD.... but it takes a Pro to do the real stuff required on complex site plans and 3D presentations. It's the same with Photoshop.... I know how many applications for work my brother gets... I also am aware that 3/4 of them don't have sufficient knowledge to be engaged in professional work with this app. Raster and vector based graphics are a complex thing... not suited to the general public. Are you familiar with FLASH??? CM |

kinds of software. And full PS? Yeah! Sure it did!!!! Bwahahahaha! RB |
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Spotone.... you mean the industry standard of Pantone? No, spotone was a color and B&W retouch system using fine brushes and inks. spectrum of use. Your link is to a gift site Bob.... no mention of a tablet on that page. CM "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... It's a plug in Bob.... go to the Photshop Plug In site. CM |

Nikon's D70 is utterly unmatched at it's pricepoint and the new 12MP camera looks very impressive. I think they do trail in the P&S market after owning and returning the Coolpix 8800. I never liked the Coolpix... even the name sucked! CM |

"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I guess not. Please explain to us all why Elements 3.0 ISN'T fine for most people!!!! We're waiting! I've never used Elements 3.0.... Uh...you do realize that Elements is, in many respects, simply a consumer oriented level version of Photoshop? It does just about anything a photographer would need. A pro, submitting for publishing would need more. So is Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro, iGraphix Design Suite.... sheesh I could go on. Most of the basic apps that come with the digitals these days are fine for basic photo retouching... like the lame sepia tone and red-eye removal, rotate etc. CM |
So is Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro, iGraphix Design Suite.... sheesh I could
go on. No, Mooron. Elements was LIFTED lock stock and barrel out of PS. They are both from Adobe. Adobe essentially created Elements in the wake of PSLE, which had been a giveaway with many cameras and scanners. Elements is expanded, but operates just like photoshop, duplicating keystokes and so on. I have Paintshop pro and it's a different program with it's own learning curve. RB |
