BTW do you have a window in the roof your pilothouse, to look up at the sails? Some of our friends have getting these installed in their biminis. I do a sought of a winterizing. Drain the fresh water tanks Don't do that, pour in a bottle of Everclear instead ![]() ... and install electric heater in the Cabin and light bulb in the engine compartment. That wouldn't work here, as most hard freezes are accompanied by ice storms that knock out the power. Force 5 with light rain is OK but hvy rain or fog doesn't make for pleasant sailing. Agreed, but it's still sailing! Just purchased a new digetal camera and waiting for a A/V jack (Back ordered) Hoping to get some pictures of winter sailing to the group Cool! We also just got a new digital camera, a Panasonic with a 12X zoom. Should be nice for taking sailing pics. Looking forward to seeing your pics! BTW the Webshots site is good & useful IMHO, it's surprising how many people view my pics there. Usually ~150 a week or so, I wonder how many are randomly surfing thru. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
