Uncle Bill ended up dying of
pancreatic cancer. His alcohol consumption was prodigious (frank Scotch
like some drink beer...) He is a legend in our family...

Franking scotch apparently is hazardous to one's health. Not to mention
that CM claims to frank his scotch, rum, and other libations as well.
RIP,
CM. :-(

Don't fret Max...... I have an excellent constitution. Latest medical shows
I'm A-Okay.

All the same you really should monitor the excessive franking. Frankly I'm
concerned about you.

it is of no concern, due entirely to my genetically superior heritage and
superhuman tolerances. I assure you only the finest spirits and carefully
brewed ales are permitted.... to be frank.

I think it's a lot like Hotel California: "you can check out any time you
want, but you can never leave."

Max

JG December 22nd 04 06:57 PM

Why would anyone want to leave California? It's by far the best state in the
Union. We have the some of the best sailing, the weather is just about
perfect, and if I really want I can sail and snow ski on the same day. It's
a relatively liberal state, but are flexible about our politics, having
elected a Republican governer, who is somewhat sympathetic to environmental
causes, the rights of our citizens, and supports stem cell research. We're
the envy of the rest of the US.

I'm afraid you are correct, Maxprop. I've tried to check out myself, but I
find myself intrigued with this insane place. :-)

Heeheee! Wouldn't it be cheaper for me to pay for the 37 cent stamp for
someone to send it to me? :-)

JG December 23rd 04 05:55 PM

I never claimed it was a sane place. You can travel back in time in SF...
just go to Haight and Asbury. If you want truly bizarre, go to Bezerkely.
