Still using a Halon extinguisher dated 1993?? About time you updated to
something more environmentally friendly. Yours should have been phased out
by now and the contents removed and disposed of only by authorised recycling
companies.

Ozone is also naturally broken down in the stratosphere. In an unpolluted
atmosphere there is a balance between the amount of ozone being produced and
destroyed and so the total concentration remains relatively constant.
