My sons would be so envious of you! It's been warm and sunny here for the
last few days. I even wore a pair of shorts today. Extremely strange
weather for this time of the year.

I hope everyone enjoyed their turkeys!

LP (much to be thankful for)

Yes, but with one heluva good story to tell!

OAN, we just heard about a friend (a pro jumper) who convinced her friend to
do a jump, even packed her chute so the newbie could feel more confident.
The newbie's chute failed and she was crushed to the tune of 9.8m/sec2.

A friend of mine is in hospital as I write recovering from 2 broken
legs, an exploded knee and two smashed ankles after a "malfunction"
with his sports chute.
They say he may one day walk in a fashion that resembles normal.

I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you.

uh-oh Oz,
I'm afraid the timing of your and Peter's most recent posts will be weighty
evidence against you in the honorable judge Taddy's courtroom!

I KNEW IT! I've been asked to jump several times but have always refused
for one reason or the other...this just confirms my suspicions....I would
turn into a pancake...

Yep. Definitely!

I've been up in a DC-3 but it wasn't so bad as to make me want to jump
out of it.

Now, if you had the chance to fly a B-29, would it only be for the
chance to jump out of that, too?

Which "here" is that? Sydney or Hobart?

Anyway, it's stinking hot here again (Adelaide or AUckland, your
choice).
