I believe a change in wind direction offends Donal... so I wouldn't concern
myself on the state of his blood pressure! :-)

Well, if you were standing downwind of him and there was a 180 degree shift, I could understand his
concerns! ;-)

Cheers

We can be thankful we're here safe on American soil while our military
is in harms way.

We could have...
"...been awake for more than 30 hours, much of that time under steady
mortar, rifle, machine-gun, and rocket-propelled grenade fire from
enemy combatants who dressed in civilian clothes and moved around on
the battlefield in Toyota pickups. "

Dead-Check in Falluja

"What does the American public think happens when they tell us to
assault a city?" one of them said. "Marines don't shoot rainbows out
of our asses. We ****ing kill people."

His concerns would pale when compared to my state of relief......

Your problems are not my problems. I have 2 weeks, more or less, to
enjoy summer and sailing before I go blue water sailing for 10 weeks or
so.

Today was a little warm at 31C but the sea breeze was nice. The boat is
sitting on the tidal flat at the bottom of my yard, high tide is 1.7m
and a nice civilised time tomorrow morning. I think I'll spend most of
the day sailing - again.

So you're suffering. I should care?

Joe,

Shucking Oysters!! So was I ! Made a casserole with "Sailor boy
crackers, 1/2&1/2. butter, nutmeg and powdered mustard" to serve with
Turkey Gravy.

Also baked 3 pies; Apple, Caramel Apple, and Raisin Pie ( Funeral pie,
Scott)

We have trouble here. FLOOD WARNING! Water already over the road at my
Son's house, where I'm going tomorrow. That's where the Turkey is. May
have to use the inflatable canoe to get in.

How that for getting on topic,
Ole Thom
