The hole in the cockpit locker is for ventilation of the sail storage area
and serves as a bolt-hole for Mr. Chew, the ship's cat. He loves to go in there and sleep and hide from jet-skis when they come buzzing around. It has a water tight cover that fits into it when underway in rough conditions where a wave or rain might come into the cockpit. CN "Jonathan Ganz" wrote in message ... We have yet to see one picture. -- Jonathan Ganz (j gan z @ $ail no w.c=o=m) http://www.sailnow.com "If there's no wind, row." |
