Looking at Scotty Potti's life sure makes me sad

me too.

Interesting coincidence, I spent some time Sunday afternoon checking out
an X-412 (40'? 41'?) that was fitted out rather nicely or cruising
(washer-dryer among other things) and still could sail very nicely. They
were getting ready to go on the Caribbean 1500 "rally."

I guess if they pay you to go to Newark, and then let you leave again,
it's OK ;)

Did AARP send you all their stuff? They forgot me...sent a bunch to Mr
Sails when he trned 50 but I never got so much as a brochure....maybe that
means I',m not officially "there" yet?

BS is just jealous that he doesn't know anyone who even has the skill to
make a homemade pie....

No, my daughter baked me a pie.

Wow. That's really F'ing pathetic. For my birthday Suzanne is taking me
to

Two
if by Sea and then a Broadway show the following week. Had to make it two

days
since Thomas can't go to the show!
Looking at Scotty Potti's life sure makes me glad I made a few good

choices in
life and didn't end up like him...beneath the bottom of the barrel.

I've just realised that Dr. Arm was probably another of Bob's
sockpuppets!!!

Regards

oh, in that case, then, I'm only 32....

There is a substantive difference between one's
chronological age.. and one's biological age.
So... it question should be not how old one is..
but how old one feels.
Now all the sailors are invited to place the 2 ages
on record.. and amaze all of us, including themselves.

And one should recognize that in some cases there are
people whose biological age is actually higher than
their chronological age. These are probably not sailors.

In my personal case..
I feel I am 39.. and stopped counting.

Katy has the idea..

Biology can be beautiful.. as Women can be beautiful.

Maurice Chevalier.. the French chanteur sang the words..
"Thank heaven for little girls..
for without them what would little boys do?"

Back to Newark today. There was a Wauquiez 40 Pilot Saloon there.
Sleek looking boat. I was about to steal the folding prop on it when I
had to leave.
