So, having swapped a secular government that opposed extremists and al Qieda for a Taliban like theoracy friendly to Muslim extremists Bush can declare victory. After all if the people choose ..... Already condemned and not even elected yet. They have a way to go before they surpass Saddam in evil. Maybe you should look at how things are going in Kosovo after Clinton put the KLA thugs in charge? How many churches have they burned down? How many native Serbs have been forced into exile? Kosovars are the Mafia of Europe and we are their allies, thanks to Clinton. LZ |

The new government may be less 'evil' than Saddam but it will NOT be as effective as Saddam when it comes to suppressing religious extremists without adopting his 'evil' methods. In fact, the most likely end to all this is a Taliban-like regime as bad or worse than Saddam, one that also promotes terrorism against us. 'Evil' is in the eye of the beholder. Are you saying that the Kosovo mess and Bush's blunder somehow cancel each other or that Bush and Clinton should be forgiven because both blundered? |
