One reason to appreciate a wing keel
|
Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I can't think of many foods that I like better than Lake Erie perch. Not easy to find in the land down under. Steve Thomas OzOne wrote in message ... I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you. Don't know how to break the news to you but there are places in the Great Lakes where the water is clean enough to drink untreated. Lake Erie water was considered unsafe to drink in the early 19th century, naturally occuring organisms most likely being the culprit. John Cairns Nah, I think I'll pass. Anyplace from which you can't eat the fish is not my sorta place to get a drink. Oz1...of the 3 twins. I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you. |

The last time I went down the coast I was surprised at the marinas that were shoaled so badly half the slips were unusable. Dredging can sometimes be problematical. Being on the ocean is not a guarantee of deep water. |
I don't get it. Please explain what a grounded boat tied to pilings has
to do with a wing keel? We do that all the time to scrub the bottom. Cheers John Cairns wrote: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...01340379iqXpQy John Cairns |

They tend to be more dramatic at the beginning and end of the season, which correspond generally with the annual high and low water level levels of the Lakes. John Cairns |

George Bush says he'll solve it with prayer.

Absolutely, NW end. Water's back up today, boat is floating nicely, will
probably drive down to the yard tomorrow for the haul-out. John Cairns "WaIIy" wrote in message ... I saw the water drop about 4- 4 1/2 ft in Huron, Ohio. |
