we use VC 18 every year...and we all had zebra mussels

VC18 or VC18 Offshore? The non Offshore has no antifouling properties.

NC Offshore is fine for salt water but doeas little in fresh water....it is
not the bottom paint of choice here...VC 17 works fine except for the little
problem of the blue green algae this year....I think that's a freshwater
phenomenon....as are zebra mussels....read the flyers on VC Offshire...it is
not meant for freshwater

Kate, the Offshore is for hard growth. Zebra mussles are hard growth.
