Man, you can tell that thing was made to sail. The traveler is above the

We checked out a new C&C at the Michigan City In-The-Water Boat Show in August. Sadly, it appeared cheapened from earlier C&Cs and we found similar problems, including floor access panels poorly fit, doors that either didn't close or didn't stay closed, and finish mistakes on several pieces of wood. Externally it seemed about on par with earlier boats, but the interior was unattractive and poorly done. Not to mention an astronomical price considering such flaws. C&C is resting on its laurels and doesn't offer good value for the money. Max |

I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't fix these things, at
least for the show boat. Scotty "Maxprop" wrote in message et... "Horvath" wrote in message I saw a C&C 99 at a boat show in Chicago. It was poorly made. Some of the doors wouldn't close properly. At the last show in AC, the Beneteaus were a mess (again). The Smaller hunters were barley together with screws missing and tables that were not fully fastened. The larger hunters were better treated by the reps. This sort of thing is common. I've seen at every boat show on a variety of boats. RB |

do they take the same boat from show to show, or use a local dealers'
boat? Scotty "Horvath" wrote in message ...
