Don't have to as it's an established fact.

"Competition for the few openings in the National Guard was intense,
and there was a waiting list of 100,000 nationally at the time. Bush
took the Air Force officer and pilot qualification tests on January
17, 1968. He scored 25%, the lowest possible passing grade on the
pilot aptitude portion. On his application form, he listed his
"background qualifications" as "none." But despite the waiting list,
his low score and his lack of qualifications, Bush was given a
highly-coveted spot and was sworn in on May 27 for a six-year
commitment, taking a solemn oath to protect and defend the
U.S. Constitution and the United States of America."

This is called being able to predict the future.

No it's not. It's called a plan to enter public life and not work for a
living. By the way Kerry should give back his salary for 2004. He hasn't
participated in ONE vote for the people he represents. Others who have run for
office have resigned their seat.

And, others have not. What's your point? Do you live in Mass? Why do
you care if they don't seem to mind?

Could be? That's a profound statement. Is that all you got?

I said "would be" not "could be." It's quite profoud.

Sounds to me like you're trying to weasel out of taking a
stand. You're either with us or against us.

You are correct. I went into the National Guard, and I didn't have
any influential friends or relatives. There was no waiting list.

Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now!

Got any proof of this crap? I got into the guard, and there was no
waiting list.

You are correct. I went into the National Guard, and I didn't have
any friends or relatives. As soon as they found out I was gay, they
threw me out.

I would agree, but that would include just about everything you've
ever posted. So, you sound like a flip-flopper to me.

No it's not. Your post stated a "coveted position" That has nothing to do
with enlisted vs commissioned waiting lists.
