Default Shackleton Movie

"katysails" wrote in message

They're going to play the movie about the Shackleton adventure on our local
I-Max....has anyone seen it yet in that format? and was it worth it?

Please understand that I'm not criticizing or attempting to tell you what to
do, but I was curious--why have you suddenly begun posting in html? My ISP
counts html posts as 3 or 4 against my monthly quota.

It's quite attractive, but if you'd like to post in plain text:

ToolsOptionsSend Tabcheck the plain text circle.

This of course assumes you're using MS Outlook Express.

I saw it here at our I-Max theater. Its well worth going to see.
Awesome footage of the ross iceshelf. Also they had a reproduction of
the lifeboat they rigged to sail for help. Enjoy!

My wife & I saw the Imax Shackleton movie. We were both very impressed
and liked it a lot. I don't know how much the Imax added to it other
than some effects zooming past icebergs etc etc. The film of Endurance
sinking was cool. As Joe says, they also sailed a replica around South
Georgia I. and that is worth seeing (IMHO). Last but not least was the
reenactment of their trek across S Georgia, with experienced climbers &
modern gear, which they gave up as impossible.

The whole Shackleton story shows how motivation is truly the key to
accomplishment.
