Default Pirate Attack--this one in Columbia

I read a recent article in Lat 38 about a pirate attack
off Columbia. The couple, which were working on
a fuel problem, has wisely locked the companionway
hatch. Borders beat on and shot through the hatch
while the couple fought back with mace and flare
guns. The bandits got off with the dinghy outboard and
a few other items. Most of which were recovered
later by Columbian police.

When asked if they thought the pirates would have
peacefully taken what they wanted, the couple
replied that the pirates never spoke a word, and
simply opened fire.

I could not find a link for this incident, but expect it
will turn up soon for more detail.
