Last late storm like this was Andrew when it wiped out Florida.

HUH? Andrew was in SEPTEMBER and hardly wiped out Florida. Andrew just did a
little well needed house-cleaning in the Little Havana districts.

Lets hope they all avoid landfall

Did you take the day off and go surfing Doug?

Whats with you, seems storms like to follow you around)

Hope you tied up your trawler with enough slack to handle the surge.
Looks like your going to get another round next week.

Hurricane Andrew in 1992 was the first hurricane of the year and it hit
South Florida in all its fury in August not September.

OK, I remembered the date wrong, but you're out of your FREAKING mind if you
even think that it "wiped out Florida." (Your words, not mine)
All Andrew did was a little much needed HOUSE CLEANING in the little Havana
district. Actually, it was a few miles too far SOUTH to be of much help.
