Just be thankful the Ozzies and the Europeans haven't launched a political diatribe of their own regarding their own countries politics.... That's just it - in UK groups there isn't anything like the amount of political drivel that we seem to get in here. To those outside the US, perhaps US politics is even less interesting. I always think it's rather strange that everyone else in the world jumps on the bandwagon during our elections when they have their own to worry about... So far as I can tell, they don't (or their contributions are a very small proportion of the overall political claptrap that gets posted in here). Given that nobody is likely to persuade anyone else to switch sides, the whole excercise of spouting sad, irrelevant pseudo political tripe seems pointless - all they're really doing is stating whether they're republican or democrat, but using vast amounts of peurile verbiage to do so. -- Wally www.artbywally.com www.wally.myby.co.uk |
