If the matter is important, then consider both sides. The men who served with Kerry feel he is unfit for command. Actually, that's not at all true. A lot of men who served in Viet Nam at approximately the same time are really angry that he became a peace protestor, and while he was in the Senate for 20 years they said nothing, and now that he's running against Bush, they feel compelled to speak up... as a public service, of course... by means of an organization that collects political donations... Is the "Swift Vets" group somebody to take seriously? Yes, if you already hate Kerry and need to find an excuse. Otherwise, not really. Regards Doug King |
