Please stop! This was an OT thread.... the only one I can
recall that morphed into a sailing-related one!

Sounds good I was tempted by a project boat earlier in the summer,
but I sobered up

I had a friend who got so drunk that he woke up with a Sailboat the next
morning and found out he had paid $700 for it.
The wife wanted a sailboat and she made him fix it up. Hehehehe
She took advantage of his drunken condition I would say..

What do you do with a drunken Sailor,
What do you do with a drunken Sailor,
What do you do with a drunken Sailor,
Sell him project sail...boats....

On the contary. The greater the risk, the more sensible
people chose a strong leader like GWB, over a lame, limp,
extremist liberal like Kerry, who wants to take away our guns
which we use to protect ourselves, who is soft on crime,
doesn't support the death penalty, and who can't wait to sell
out America to France and foreign interests for cash.

American is strong because American's are strong. Why would
anyone consider a lame leader that doesn't put America, and
American's first.

Kerry isn't strong enough to stand up to France, how can he
stand up to terrorists?

the
kinds of people likely to support Bush are sorry excuses for Americans
anyway, eager to cast off the liberty our forebearers sacrificed and died
for on the promise of safety - and the scareder they are the more likely
they are to vote for Bush and his nazi-like measures.

Rush Limbaugh (asked)

.... "How does Bush benefit from America being at greater risk?"

A strong leader who didn't bother to show up for
his physical, who is an alcoholic, and who can
barely control is daughters and certainly not control
his VP. Quite a leader.

Bwahahaha! What a joke! See Bush or any of his close advisors going into
harm's way to kick ass?

protectors take me to safety, leaving my staff to deal with the situation.
Then I'm going to borrow a $trillions and disrupt 1000s of American lives
and get 100s of them killed TRYING to KICK YOUR ASS."

True enough, but I wouldn't want him to lead a country.

When I was in the military I ducked my flu shots.
When I was in college I was an alcoholic.
I don't think anyone can control their daughters.

All these things are irellievant to the man GWB is today.
And further proof extremist liberals will do anything
to smear a good man like GWB.

Whew, you sure do rationalize. While I believe events of 20-30 years ago
are far less relevant than recent events, I'm wondering how you can so
easily dismiss GWB's admitted youthful drunken days, yet, at the same
time, find "Kerry was a spoiled kid who chickened out in combat".
Hypocrisy?

Hahahaa... ok, but you didn't duck your physicals. At least
that's what I would think.

If you were an alcoholic, you still are. I don't want an alcoholic
to be president.

So, you don't believe in family values? That's a Republican theme.
