OT Raising Threat Level

Try this. Decide if the matter is important first, then judge the persons actions. I think combat is serious. Drinking in college to blow off some pressure is something else. Drinking while driving, OTOH, is very serious. I think Kerry has a chance to answer some questions. Sure. And Bush has a lot of questions to answer too. If the matter is important, then consider both sides. The men who served with Kerry feel he is unfit for command. Actually, that's not at all true. A lot of men who served in Viet Nam at approximately the same time are really angry that he became a peace protestor, and while he was in the Senate for 20 years they said nothing, and now that he's running against Bush, they feel compelled to speak up... as a public service, of course... by means of an organization that collects political donations... Is the "Swift Vets" group somebody to take seriously? Yes, if you already hate Kerry and need to find an excuse. Otherwise, not really. Regards Doug King |

Why is it that liberals take about the seriousness
of the charge requires more serious investigation yet when the shoe is on the other foot, they turn the subject back to something inconsequential like Bush being AWOL where there is no proof even after months of saying this. Kerry is bragging about his war record. Ok. Lets look at it and get the full story. Why did he bring a camera with him? Why did he put in for so many Purple Hearts? Why do so many veterans, not in his chain of command, dislike him? Why did his entire chain of command think little of him? How did he get his first Purple Heart when the doctor who treated him turned him down? Why did he leave after only 4 months when the normal tour of duty is 1 year? Why did he get decorated for killing one frightened kid in a loincloth? Why did he throw away his medals and yet keep them? What do his medals mean if he didn't earn them, threw them away, and put's them on display now? I'm confused, and I want answers. Now you tell me what questions you want Bush to answer. Then we'll look at the facts presented in each case. We'll throw out the questions where there are no supporting facts, and examine the rest. "DSK" wrote Bart Senior wrote: Try this. You're confused because you need medication. Bush
has yet to say why he failed to show up for his physical. Kerry went to VN. Bush didn't go to his physical. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Bart Senior" wrote in message et... I don't think Kerry goes with what the poles say. It is more like what he
says to the media is based on what the poles say people want to hear. He is very consistant. You can tell by his voting record (the one exception is voting for the war, which was under extreme circumstanced). He would send billions to fund the UN and give them authority over us and our troops and dismantle any defenses we have. I pray he does not get elected, for the sake of my soon to be born grandson. "FamilySailor" wrote I pray he (Kerry) does not get elected, for the sake of my soon to be born grandson. Think about the debt Bush is piling up for your granson to pay then maybe write in somebody better - like Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. Either would be better for your Grandson than Bush. |
