I voted for McCain in the primary last time, but the unfortunate state of affairs is that the parties are controlled by activists and the activists tend to be extremists. When you get right down to it, abortion is the only real litmus test for these folks...the rest is just noise and smoke. I would vote for McCain in a minute over anyone on either side, but he is like a man on an island in Washington. |
