know how many times I ducked things like that. I
got sick every time I had a flu shot and finally made
a deal with the fellow who gave shots. We'd talk
for 30 minutes, he'd pretend he forgot, and ask me if
he gave me the shot already, and I'd say yes, and he'd
send me on my way!

The reserves are even more relaxed than active duty.

Here's my prediction: After George W. Bush wins reelection, you put
the muzzle of a gun in your mouth, and put us out of your misery.

Jon doesn't have a gun. Maybe a water pistol.

So, what you're saying is that it was ok for Bush to squander
his opportunity to be a pilot, which he did by failing to show
and was thus classified as unfit.

Basically, Bush decided that rather than lie about his alcohol
and drug abuse problem, he would just flake on the physical.
Typical for a drug addict... probably you should confirm
with Rush though.

Depending upon where you live, Jon, that would get you 10 to 20. With
liberal judges you'd have a difficult time explaining why you shot the
intruder in the ass, rather than in the heart from the front.
