Lunatia, I'm told by the previous owners, is latin for Moonbeam. the name
seemed funny at first, but it kind of caught on after a bit. bad luck to
change the name anyway. the fossil connection is interesting though, but not
relative to my way of thinking, as i do win my share of races.

But there is a Katysails. Every year she rises out of the marina and sails
from house to house bringing toys and wonderful things to good posters! Good
Grief! (OK so I cribbed a little bit but it doesn't mean I don't BELIEVE!

Hi Katy.

The Oregon State Park system has a few Yurts at most of their
campgrounds. For $29.00 a night it's a real deal compared to some of
the hotels we've seen. In fact, we are going to buy one when we find
some land to put it on. We will stay in it during the summers while
we build our main house and then you can come out to visit us and stay
in our "guest yurt".

Here's a link so you can see what they look like.

katysails asked:

Hey Barb...where'd you find a yurt???

Well, make sure it's the deluxe variety! Roughing it just isn't as
appealing as it once was...last year we toyed with driving up to Pictured
Rocks in October and camping, but the night time temps convinced us
otherwise...sleeping on the ground at frost point would probably render me
incapable of walking for a week....
