Is it the credo of the democratic party to trumpet half truths and
ill-understood policy statements to discredit opposing viewpoints? Do the political ends justify any statement, veracity be damned? If a Democrat is cornered in an argument, can it be counted on to trot out tired old personal epithets? Is San Francisco really a bastion of lemming-like, robotic reactionaries?
