because he led his party to cast tough votes on deficit reduction that cured
the problem, sparked a record expansion, yet cost some Democrats in Congress
their careers.

sucks and jobs are lost in Maryland. Even the liberal news readers did a post
Kerry bit on how the economy is growing nationally at it's fastest rate in 20
years and how Maryland jobs grew by 13,000 last month alone. They stated
Bush's policy on the economy is working. All 3 networks said the same thing.
So what's your next item.

Most folks have difficulty discerning the federal deficit (above) from an
annual budget deficit. Clinton balanced the budget, but never made a dent
in the federal deficit. Of course neither has any other president in modern
times. And this current one seems bent on raising it to unprecedented
levels.
