Scotty In Michigan a dog that chases deer is to be immediately destroyed (DNR law). If a stray dog is in your pasture harassing herd animals it can be legally shot by the property owner. We have NO stray dogs in our area. It was pretty funny when he spotted the deer, he did almost a perfect point... if you ignore the lack of tail or nose!
