asaparagus make your urine stink.

Do you have a special glass to test the aroma?

they also wreck your kidneys.

Jim Cate,

Since your the only Texan here since that guy who did bad bottom job
cartoons (which I meet sailing one day) Im inviting you over for some
angus ribeyes, merlot wine and my secret grilled aspergrass. The
steaks will cut like butter and you will be amazed with all the fixins
Miss Terry can come up with. After dinner we can have a brandy or 8, a
fine Romeo & Juliet cuban cigar and enjoy the best sunset view that
ClearLake has to offer. If you like, we will dink up into the wildlife
refuge. Bring the little lady along, and we will even fix some grub
for the little ones if you can not find a sitter.

Let me know.

Best Regards,

Joe

Asparagus can cause a very nasty form of kidney stone, see:

http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/DS/00282.html

says:

For people with a history of kidney stones, doctors usually recommend
passing at least 2 1/2 quarts of urine a day. To do this, you'll need to
drink about 3 1/2 quarts (14 cups) of fluids every day - and even more if
you live in a hot, dry climate. Although most liquids count, water is best.

In addition, if you tend to form calcium stones - a combination of calcium
and oxalate - your doctor may recommend restricting foods rich in oxalates.
These include meats - especially organ meats, such as liver and kidneys -
chicken, fish such as herring and anchovies, and asparagus, berries,
chocolate, cooked spinach, Swiss chard and rhubarb. What's more, studies
show that an overall diet low in salt and very low in animal protein can
greatly reduce your chance of developing kidney stones.
