Hobie Cat 16 Trampoline stuck in crossbar

Hobie Cat 16 Trampoline stuck in crossbar

I am trying to get the old trampoline off my Hobie Cat 16 and the
small section is stuck in the front crossmember. It moves 1/2 inch
either way but seems to have quite a distinct obstruction. Is there
something I don't know about removing this?
