Default Sunday's Rainy Sail

While Scotty tried to fix his outhouse, 6 of us took Alien out for a very nice
sail. It was raining or misting or a combo of both for most of the time. The
girls stayed dry under the dodger, handed out the hot chocolate and had a good
time. It was actually very nice sailing, light but steady air around 8-10
knots. Fog rolled in later and the drizzle started to add some chill, but it
was all worth it. There were only about 10 boats out in the area. Visibility
was too poor to see if more were sailing. I like the rainy sails because I'm
usually less tired than on the days where the sun bakes us. 7 out of 10 stars
for a daysail!

Some of the boats that were out were interesting...This is at the entrance to
Manhasset bay just after setting out....

I think it's getting pretty close to plonk time.

You're a freak, you don't sail, and you're noisy.

Cig. butts are nothing but some tobaco fragments and a little paper (wood)
Natural stuff that will decompose and be gone in a week. Some people should
give it a rest.
