He just implemented them poorly, and he forgot that the great unwashed are not interested in "belt tightening" unless there is an urgent need and a just cause. All he did was alienate people. While I wouldn't call his Presidency successful, it was a long way from the worst we have had. Somewhere along our way, someone promised us a free lunch. We are still paying for it. |
