We just had some tornadic conditions...the flooding is approximately one
block away! But we live up on top of a very large hill....

well above flood level...and we're supposed to get more rain....and it's
pretty cold....not exactly summertime weather, ya know....corn fields are
going to take a real hit...and they're worried that there wasn't enough
sunlight for the bees to have pollinated the fruit trees so harvest this
year might be abysmal

I was in Midland, Texas, this week. Wednesday the wind was 47-60 mph. The
blowing sand reduced visibility to about a hundred yards. And then it
started to rain. It rained mud. I hadn't seen that since the fifties.

On the bright side, the cactus is in bloom.
