Ride and carry is many miles of mountain biking, then carrying the bike up
steep terain that would be hard to traverse carrying nothing, except now you're
carrying an unbalanced bike.

You can sit behind your keyboard and tell fairy tales all you want. I'm 6'3 210
presently with real muscle mass, little man. I'm back to running 4 days a week
amd I never drink or smoke. If you're not doing the road work, you're not in
shape; doesn't matter what you weigh. If you drink and smoke even the road work
is a waste.
You could not hack it and quite frankly, I doubt you could keep up with Suzanne
either, though her 6th month of pregnancy is forcing her to slow down for now.
