In May 2001, a German court jailed a former concentration camp guard for life,
for murdering an inmate in 1944.


Anton Malloth, 89, was convicted of beating the inmate to death at the Theresienstadt camp
in Czechoslovakia.


This case, 57 years after the crime, is the most recent Nazi War Crime to appear in a German court.
