Default Guess What Folks?

Come on, at least give the guy the chance to get familiar with his
boat! After that, you've enough time to bash his sailing
skills/McGregor... :-)

Jim professed on this group to be a seasoned sailor who had woned previous
sailboats...You're inplying that someone with sailing skills on real
sailboats needs to "get used" to sailing a MacGregor? Maybe he needs to get
used to the idea of the folly he committed....maybe he needs to get used to
the fact that he's sailing a motorboat....but get used to sailing? nah....

Jim seemed to know what he was doing, Just his boat could not do it.
It was pitiful to say the least. 15 knots of wind and he was almost
stopped going upwind at all. When he layed off 30 degrees the back of
his sail flopped
wildly, when he layed off 40 degrees he was about blown over. Keep in
mind this is with brand new crisp Mac sails. He caught my attention
while walking the dog, I noticed him moving so slow and the sail
flapping so uniquely. I had no ideal it was Jim until he got close
enough to shout before turning away.

Poor Jim, He thought he was going to have a nice sail and ended up
having a nightmare and a slow motor boat ride, no way could he pull a
skier out of the water.
