Heh Peter... you could get your cane converted into a paintball gun!!! ;-D There;s an idea! I was just thinking of a nice conventional little 22RF one, seeing as how I have a few spare barrels & the correct reamers. What's the OD of a paintball? How about a muzzle loader for 'Overproof' loaded with paintball grapeshot? You'd never have to bother with attorneys in kayaks getting in the way again. PDW |

We were on a Sail Past on a Funeral for a good buddy and being the last boat we were to fire the Salute Canon..... well in the confusion caused by imbibing several beers.... I forgot to remove the rubber plug. Apparently it missed the head of a French guy on a boat not in the sail past by inches. The frenchman wasn't a big fan of us pirates and everyone had a good laugh about it. CM |

Once upon a time I went on a friend's boat for Race Committee... he had never done this before and was excited about the chance to use a large brass cannon he'd begged or borrowed from somewhere. On the first shot, the recoil sent the cannon crashing backwards through the side of the cockpit and overboard... oops! Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
