My question was worded perfectly.
There is only one best answer. The man who wrote a book about his voyage, in which he sailed around the world non-stop returning to the port he left over a period of 313? Nothing else could compare. Navigator wrote Perhaps you should define 'most famous'. Many famous sailors have sailed from falmouth, myself included. Bart Senior wrote: Who is the most famous sailor that started and ended a voyage from Falmouth. 1 pt. |

Oooh Come on Navi,
You never started a trip around the world at Falmouth and ended it in Falmouth. The question also plainly stated; "The most famous sailor------" That sure as Hell wasn't you. Dream on old Friend, dream on. Ole Thom |

Bart,
You left out the most important part of the question; (Voyage around the World) The other interesting part of that story of his competitor who never got out of the Atlantic and disappeared from his vessel, Ole Thom |
