Nothing wrong with Macs is there?

"Maintenance in last 4 years:

-blistered gel coat on bottom removed, bottom faired/sanded/epoxied with West system
-rebedded all deck fittings, rub rail (no water leaks, common problem on macgregor's)
-water coolant impellor on outboard
-replaced pulleys on halyards, main sheet, rudder, and dagger board
-trailer lights
-jib sheet cleats"

;-o

....and he is trying to sell it:) I was a little surprised to see the
blistering on a boat that probably spends most of it's life on a
trailer, but at least it isn't $30k+. Katy could paint it blue, for
the "new boat" look, or yellow for the South Florida look and be in
business for less than $5k. Get an old engine block mooring and keep
her boat next to Capt Neal's:)

Probablt the exact opposite. mac designs their boats to sit on trailers, he
probably left it in the water for a season and.......voila.....blisters.

Let me make this perfectly clear...having no boat at all is preferable than
having a Mac 26 X, M or any other configuration...I'll go back to sticking a
log on telephone poles and sailing with gunny sacks before I'd consider a
Mac....
