you asked no questions. you did nothing but pontificate, and you did so
clearly showing one and all you do not understand the technique nor how it
works.

you are a cookbook navigator trying to claim the cake bakes because the light

As expected, unable to answer some simple questions .... plonk

no wonder you pontificated.

LOL, glad I was waiting to the end of this session to plonk you....

Yes I did ask a question. To repeat: What does "Ships didn't have mobile
radio compasses, so they weren't aligned each time they were used" refer
to (it's your statement)....care to answer?

As to your other statement .... RDF's signals could be taken either
using magnetic or gyro or fluxgate compasses, and the accuracy was
dependent on a number of factors, but with any of the three, could well
fall into the ranges stated.
New question: How the hell did you think anyone plotted an RDF bearing
if they didn't "align" it with the compass?

otn ... you will be plonked, but I'll hold to see if you can make any
reasonable response.

Hey Jaxass, read your post and follow through to his. I see TWO (2) very
distinct questions. Now, either you're blind, or you don't understand the (?)
mark.

ah, now I see the problem shen. you don't know what the English word
"question" means. Or else you confuse it with the English word "pontificate".

not enough years in high school for you, shen. you should have stayed a few
more.

Jax, you must be the most stupid individual who has ever managed to connect
his computer to Usenet. Otn asked you the following *question*.
==============================
"How the hell did you think anyone plotted an RDF bearing
if they didn't "align" it with the compass?"

==============================

Are you able to answer his question? Or are you really dumb enough to think
that we will be bamboozled by your lame attempts at a smokescreen?

Otn asked a question. There was no hint of pontification at all in his
question. Why don't you answer him?

BTW, I've asked you a question. I didn't pontificate.

Regards

Answer to your question:

I don't believe you have the capability to keep a single thought in your head
long enough to be bambozzled. I believe that even if I were so inclined it
would be waste of effort to even try.

That wasn't an answer to my question.

Let's try again!

The question was-
"Are you really dumb enough to think that we will be bamboozled by your lame
attempts at a smokescreen?"

Let's break this question down into small, bite sized, componenents.

First, I asked if you were dumb. Are you?

Secondly, I suggested that your previous answer was a smokescreen, or a
"sidestep".

Thirdly, I wanted to know if you were so incredibly stupid, that you
thought that we wouldn't recognise your pathetic attempts to retain some
personal dignity by diverting attention from the question.

No doubt, you will answer this post with another demonstration of your
superior intellect!!! ... or perhaps you will finally recognise the fact
that there are times when you should keep quiet.

Regards
