A clock for the Nattering Nabobs of Knighted Nowhere

way to go, Nimrod. jeffies said he used RDF to thread his way through the

how lucky. some people didn't get lucky.
I don't recall Jeff saying that he was using the RDF to thread his way
through granite ledges. It seemed he was saying that he was using the
RDF as one navigation tool, among others. Every good navigator uses a
number of sources of information to confirm their position, or at
least narrow the margin of error. You really need to pay more
attention. Nothing in Jeff's posts indicated that he was relying on a
single line of positon (LOP to those who have taken the Power Sqadron
course) to navigate. It seems that you spend an inordinant amount of
time being frightened by things you don't understand rather than
making an effort to learn. A sad state of affairs for a sailor.
By the way, I have a fair amount of time sailing "fog bound Maine".
It isn't rocket science with the charts and electronics and a good
Power Sqadron background. You should sign up.
