over a hamburger? C'mon, you're pulling my leg, we have documentaries like Starsky & Hutch on the telly here in France about life in Amerika and they always pull out their guns after tops a couple of minutes of dialogue. I once emailed the NRA expressing concern that I couldn't prebook over the internet for pick up at Miami airport a decent rifle to defend myself whilst I took my family to Disneyland, adding that if possible I would like lightweight handguns for my two children (aged 4 and 6) and a grenade-launcher for my wife. They sent me back a very nice email saying that I made a very valid point and said they had forwarded it to some congressman or other for consideration. |

AFAIK the US govt hasn't banned the Dixies' songs, performances et al.
