Really? That's interesting. they waste time on trivia rather than attempt to
see the big picture.

But suppose the question then becomes why do they waste so much time on trivia?
I wonder if in the end they simply can't keep two thoughts in their head at
the same time.

Sorta like Lyndon Johnson said of Gerald Ford, that he "could walk and fart at
the same time".
