(Bobsprit) scribbled For me, before I had a clue about good old boats.... I made an offer on a sad and rather homely looking Tanzer 26! A Tanzer 26 is a pretty good boat. A 35' that retired from her 4th race when the bow threatened to collapse and a 36' that retired from her second race when the pressure of the backstay tore the top off the reverse transom so it looked a lot like a whale with its mouth open and quite a few more :-) See, if it had been a double ender, that wouldn't have happened.
