Has anyone heard of a bilge pump that operates without batteries or
electricity? I know that there was one manufactured in Norway at one
time, but for some reason I can't find it anywhere. Can someone
please help me out.

Tin cups work well....there is that devise that looks like a bicycle =
pump, too...it is "people-powered"

Yes. My aged C30 came with one. The surveyor said it was there to provide a
choice in case of a hull leak. You could simply watch, in which case you
would drown, or start pumping its handle until you died of a heart attack
instead. Yourchoice .....
